Hola, Hello,

My name is Jessica Gonzales, and I run and operate La Escuelita Preschool. La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool is an at home-based State Licensed Preschool (1673333) located in Dallas, Texas.  I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas, and a few years later earned a Masters of Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. Technically I've been an Early Childhood Educator for over 18 years, but I'd like to think I was born to be one. I spent 11 years  in the classroom as  Two-Way Dual Language PreK teacher and two years as an Early Childhood Specialist for DallasISD.  My passion for early childhood education has led me to study extensively Conscious Discipline, Love and Logic, Social and Emotional Development and CLASS which is a flexible tool that focuses on the heart of great teaching.

I started La Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool to offer my community a place where children from diverse backgrounds and cultures can come together to learn, develop and grow. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I feel very fortunate to offer this program to families like yours. When you leave your child in my care I will strive to create a safe learning environment where they will be nurtured and challenged academically.  As a parent it was very important for my own children to be bilingual and biliterate, and as an educator I will strive to  instill that knowledge to your children.  I want every child in my care to succeed both academically and linguistically. When you walk into our environment, it will be rich in language and culture. You will  find us singing, dancing, talking, and reading rich texts full of magical words. You and your child will become part of our family and we will honor each others culture and language.
