Our School Is Special! ¡Nuestra Escuela es Especial!
Our school is special and based on Christian values. This is not your average daycare. We are a preschool where serious learning takes place! We are also not just any ordinary preschool, we are a Two-Way Dual Language Preschool located in Oak Cliff. At our school Spanish speaking children are supported in maintaining their native language and cultural traditions, while English speaking children develop a strong foundation for a second language and exposure to a variety of cultural traditions. The goal is for the students to learn from each other and values each other's language and culture.
We like to think that our program offers something uniquely different to families in Dallas. We all like to have options and we hope that a program like ours meets the needs of your family. La Escuelita SIP offers a research based Spanish curriculum taught by a Texas Certified Bilingual teacher with a Master's Degree in Bilingual Education. We have a designated place in our home that provides a safe and inviting learning environment for your child. Our school teaches content through the Spanish language and the children learn in a developmentally appropriate way. Our classroom schedule is purposefully built around the children's academic needs and every moment is an opportunity for your child to learn something new, especially at this young age.
At La Escuelita SIP we strongly believe in providing equitable educational opportunities for all children in our community. We have allotted some spots for families that receive child care assistance. We are very proud that we can offer a program where two groups of students (each with different home languages, one being English and the other being Spanish) learn together in a systematic way so that both groups become bilingual and biliterate in the two languages. The goal is for the students to learn from each other.
